1. Using Flash Web Designs

Even though Flash web designs may suit the purpose for certain websites, it is definitely not appropriate for a majority of business web designs. Flash web designs not only make downloading the website slow and tedious, but it also prevents visitors from gaining the information they are seeking quickly. Businesses therefore run the risk of having clients seek alternate websites.

 

2. Web Designs with Small Fonts

Nothing is more annoying than a website which requires you to squint at the web designs because the font is too small. While small fonts enable businesses to effectively fit in more information on a web page, it is not practical if the customer has difficulty finding the information they are looking for. Always keep your target audience in mind and create a web design which caters to their needs and comforts.

 

3. Web Designs filled with Animations and Images

Have you ever opened a website and then waited ages until all its animations and images downloaded? This is a very common web design flaw. While animations and images can add value to a web design, too many can distract your client from main purpose of the website. Use graphics in your web designs, but do not go overboard.
