Creating content is one of the most important components of any search engine optimization (SEO) campaign, however, it is also one of the most difficult and time consuming. Not only does the content need to appeal to visitors to your website, but it must also communicate successfully with the search engine bots that crawl your site. One of the biggest mistakes that businesses can make is leaving copy writing to the last moment of the project. You need to give yourself time and spread the task throughout you business to make certain you obtain great quality copy.
 
A few items you should consider when writing good quality SEO copy are:
  • Create a specific content focus for each page
  • Attach ALT tags for all images throughout the site
  • Use your keyword in the title
  • Use bold and/or italics with your keywords to make them stand out
  • Use a good mix of keywords to content, which should be between 2-4%
