Any website content management system or CMS has two basic elements in its structure, called content management application or CMA and content delivery application or CDA. The first element (CMA) is used to create the digital content, while the CDA ensures publishing the content to the website. Content management application is designed to allow people without technical knowledge and web programming skills to create and edit web content.
Website content management system may also include multiple specific website applications, such as files manager, banner ads manager, user accounts manager, shopping cart, and other applications for specific purposes.
