What Does A Project Manager Do?

A project manager who is leading a project and will be expected to be fully accountable for meeting the project objectives. The project manager will be the leader of the project team and will be responsible for making sure the following are completed in a timely fashion:
- Obtaining approval for the project aims and any terms of reference
- Choosing and leading the team and defining individual objectives
- Completing a feasibility study
- Planning the project in appropriate detail
- Assigning and reviewing the work and expenses
- Providing the team with motivation
- Providing progress reports
- Assisting the team to solve any problems
- With the team, achieving the project goals
- Reviewing and closing the project
